Electric Vehicles are the only ones emitting no emissions and they do not run on gas. They can be recharged through outlets at home and where ever there are power stations. They are Eco-friendly so they help out environment. Since they run on batteries alone we do not have to rely on gas from foreign countries and do have to spend thousands on gas each year. EVs can also charge from zero emission sources such as nuclear, hydroelectric, solar, and wind power. They also have the unique advantage to a variety of renewable sources and a variety of fuels to generate electricity.

Electric Vehicles are the perfect care for every person to drive because of the fact that they are not polluting the environment the way gasoline cars do. They emit zero emissions and can charge from a variety of things like solar and wind power or even renewable sources. Yes, many of you will say well I don’t want an EV because they don’t travel far enough or they cost too much. That may be true but I believe if you truly care about the environment that should not stop you from buying it. Not only will you be helping the environment you will be making it a better place for your kids to live. Over 100,000 miles EVs emissions are a lot cleaner than Internal Combustion Engine cars (ICE) by 25 tons. Not only is that amazing the fact that “emissions from the power plants are easier to control than 187 milling ICE”. California Air Resources Board (CARB) estimated that there would be 89 percent fewer oxides of nitrogen, 98 percent fewer hydrocarbons, and 99 percent less carbon monoxide than Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) in the Los Angeles Basin from operating EV’s (Griddens). Since EVs emit no polluting emissions and will only get better in the future. EVs will have longer lasting batteries, traveling further distances, affordable car and battery prices. Meaning we will no longer be spending money on gas and we will no longer have to spend millions on buying oil from foreign countries. 

So my question to everybody who is capable of driving is why not buy EVs. Is it because they are too expensive to buy? Yes, for some people it could be the case. But if that were really true then I wonder why those same people buy things such as jewelry, watches among other things that can cost thousands of dollars. If you added up the cost of things like jewelry, watches, purses and even game systems at the end of the year that would be enough to buy a used car. For others I believe they don’t find EVs appealing because of the way they look and not enough horsepower. So they instead buy cars like Ferraris, Mercedes and Cadillac’s among other high quality cars.

Sometime in the future I hope people start to believe that EVs are better for the environment. So that the air we breathe is much cleaner not just for us but also for are kids. While there may be people who doubt EVs now in the future they will be better. The prices will drop, the technology will be better. So for all those people who want power in their car they will have it one day in EVs. If it all goes well I believe everyone will be happy with how much better the environment has become and how much less we are polluting the beautiful environment we live in.
